Hi, I am Katie Dobek.
I'm a wife, mother and faith- based photographer located in Swartz Creek, MI.
I started photographing as a hobby in my first year of college. The idea of being able to make time stand still, where someone could look back at a photo and remember every detail of that moment is what inspires me to take photos.
Photography is a form of art and every session I shoot I learn more about myself as a photographer and fall more in love with what I'm privileged to do.

My Style
I am a canon natural light photographer. This means I am most often photographing outside, using the natural sunlight. Candid shots are my absolute favorite, I believe your true beauty lies in what was God-given to you in your natural state. My photos are warm and vibrant in color.
How do you photograph weddings?
I love being by your side to help you before your wedding day. I'll send you a guide to help you organizing your day, the best moments for the couple photos, the different lights... and it's really exciting for me to receive photos of your dress, shoes, invites... On your wedding day, all I want to capture is the feelings, the mood, the emotions, the calm and crazy moments and all the details that make your wedding unique.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I am based in Swartz Creek, MI but yes; I love to travel! If you want me to photograph your story, it will require a travel fee, depending on where it takes place. But no worries, I always try to find the cheapest way to come because I want to be there for you; no matter where "here" is.
When will we get our photos?
Your will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within maximum 8 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your story). Seniors and families can expect their galleries within 3 weeks. You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favorites, and also order prints!
How many pictures will we receive?
For an 8 hours coverage wedding, you will receive 400+ fully edited images. I always choose quality rather than quantity and that's why I don't put a limit on the photos you receive. Seniors and families don't have a limit either!
